 Nike Junior Golf Camps
Long Island Sports Camps is proud to present the 2010 Nike Junior Golf Camps of Long Island in conjunction with SwingWorks Golf. This is our 11th year at Heartland Golf Park in Deer Park NY. Our other Long Island location this season is again The Hamlet Wind Watch GC in Hauppauge, NY. The Heartland program's focus is on juniors ages 6-13. The Wind Watch program is tailored towards juniors ages 12-17. The ciriculm at each facility is tailored toward each group, but an important part of improvemnt is being comfortable in your surroundings. A younger player might not feel comfortable at the Wind Watch and an older player might feel out of place at Heartland based on the average age of the group. Please take that into consideration while enrolling your junior golfer.
Nike Junior Golf Camps have aided in the development of over 90,000 young golfers since 1994. At camp, each junior golfer gains new technical skills, as well as the nine core values: confidence, respect, perseverance, judgment, integrity, sportsmanship, responsibility, courtesy, and honesty.
SwingWorks Golf Instruction Programs
Swing Works Golf Instruction Programs are located at Heartland Golf Park, in Edgewood, New York, and at the Hamlet Wind Watch Golf Club in Hauppauge, NY.
At SwingWorks we take an eclectic approach to golf instruction. We realize that not every golfer is the same so each swing is different as well. Our approach is rooted in strong fundamentals and cause & effect relationships. At the end of your lesson you will know what you are doing, why you are doing it and how to practice it so you see continued improvement.
